East West is Princeton’s first and only Asian American Theatre company. We are here to advocate for and support the representation of Asian American stories and other traditionally unheard experiences on the stage and in the media. More importantly, we are here to encourage and support newcomers to theater who have little to no experience! Throughout the year, we perform plays centered on the Asian/Asian American experience as well as hold fun events such as screenings of Asian American films, Asian snack (and boba!) nights, play readings, Broadway trips, and talks with awesome Asian American artists such as director, Cathy Yan ’08 and actor, Justin Chon!
